News - Sad or not?

Asma Jahangir - known as a fierce lawyer and human rights activist died

Many of the social media users are posting their feelings regarding death of Asma Jahangir on Facebook, twitter and other social networking sites. Some of them are Sad, some are neutral but some of them are really happy on hearing the news.

While having a look at posts and comments of public, I recalled the attitude of Hazrat Muhammad () on the death of Abdullah bin Ubai. Abdullah bin Ubai was the person who was clearly known for his hypocrisy and Muslims were seriously harmed by his actions many times. Still our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad () gave His shirt to cover him and offered his funeral prayer and when asked to stop by Sahaba He () replied that I have been given the choice for Allah says: '(It does not avail) Whether you (O Muhammad ) ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites), or do not ask for forgiveness for them. Even though you ask for their forgiveness seventy times, Allah will not forgive them.
And than he stated that if he was to be forgiven by Allah after I ask for his forgiveness seventy time, I would have done that too.

That was the attitude of "Our Absolute Leader" towards those who were against Muslims and Islam in their hearts - after their death.

And we as the followers of the same leader - where do we stand?
We are actually kind of celebrating the news instead of asking forgiveness for her from Allah
Hatred and anger that people have in their heart against a person, should end with that person as we (Muslims) know well that they are experiencing a whole new world now and they already have started to harvest what they have been sowing in this world through out their lives.

I once heard a quote that "sometimes we become unintentionally what we despise the most"
May Allah save us from webs of Shaitan and negative energy and May Allah forgive her and she rest in peace.
