Lawn craze

It does not make sense to buy a lawn suit worth an average Pakistani family’s monthly income I believe we need to step back, resist the temptation and cut back on this lawn craze. As we bid adieu to our beloved warm winter clothes, the biggest hype of the year (every year) begins: lawn mania. And no, I'm not referring to the beautiful flowers that have started to bloom or the grass that has finally started to paint the city green. I'm referring to the most overrated and fussed-about part of spring/summer: designer lawn. There was once a time, some years back, when the light cotton fabric called lawn in Pakistan did not cost you a kidney (exaggeration intended). However, with the advent of designer lawn and the sudden upsurge of designers in every nook and corner of the country, selling lawn has transformed into a rat race. This has not only caused the fabric to become ridiculously expensive, but also the marketing activities employed to win the rat race are becoming increasingly frustrating. Anyone who follows Pakistani magazine accounts on Instagram would know what I'm talking about. The new addition to huge billboards is lawn collection launches, campaigns, exhibitions and the possibilities are endless. These events are attended by the handful elitist of the country who attend every such event and exclaim how wonderful and out of this world this year’s new collection of every mainstream designer is. This is irksome, because personally I see nothing extraordinary in the prints that was absent the preceding year. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm a massive fan of pretty lawn prints and a loyal advocate of the notion "dress to impress", but the amount of hype these over-priced pieces of clothing is creating thanks to the numerous designer options available now is worrisome and hard to keep up with. Furthermore, the lavish marketing efforts come with a hefty cost, which is passed on to us consumers in the form of ‘premium prices’, which is rather funny as well as hypocritical, because many of these designers deny that they are an elitist brand while their prices convey a different message. Also, in a country where a considerable portion of the population tries to make ends meet in a PKR 15,000 salary, is that amount justified for a lawn suit that won't even last two seasons? What value would I get from spending that amount on a lawn suit that I can’t get from a less expensive lawn suit with an equally appealing print? I believe we need to step back, resist the temptation and cut back on this lawn craze. As for our very talented designers, you all need to calm down and stop sensationalizing a simple and classic piece of fabric that is worn for the longest period of time in the year, and has a special place in all Pakistani women’s hearts.

Mocking "The Legend"

Mocking is wrong but the issue is something else...

A friend on Facebook updated his status on wall starting with "What a shame....." and he was concerned about the mocking of "Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan" on a private television show. He also stated that he consider it a crime.

I was thinking What has happened to the Muslim nation. Some joke against a slain singer make us angry enough to raise our voice against it in our limits, but disrespect of religious clerics, scholars and leaders failed to create such restlessness and anger in their hearts.

I agree that just to increase they TRP television channels have gone beyond the limits, and it should be checked by the responsible authorities. Because making fun of a person is forbidden in Islam - the perfect religion in this world. Media has become a mafia now-a-days and accountability is necessary.

But I am concerned about the fact that people take singers and actors as national heroes, more disturbing is that they don't know anything about the real heroes, who are actually doing the hard work so that the singers continue to please their ears in freedom.

Children of the nations need heroes to know and grow their own personality and potential, and if youth of nation will consider artiste - the hero, what will be the next generation be like??????

Expression freedom limits

Pope Francis
Pope  Francis regarding limits of free expression says that
"If my good friend Dr. Gasparri says a curse word against my mother,
he can expect a punch"
These words come out from the mouth of a Pope, a Christian and a European entity, so none of modern day liberal freak has to say anything about expression freedom.
When it comes to Muslim nation, whole world with all the other religions expect Islam stay at the other side of the line. Abusing Muslim, defaming us, fake allegations on us and any other type of physical and verbal violence against Muslim is considered a "Non Issue"

Orya Maqbool Jan (a famous analyst and writer fro Pakistan) stated that division has been started for the last battle of this earth between Muslims and Non-Muslims, line started to be clear - and it will be more clear by each passing day.

And we see these lines very very clear when it comes to Expression freedom issue. They time to time spread blasphemous material and expect us to be silent on the matter and believe that they have all the rights to do so. Because we and they both are living in a modern world with a greatly valued right of expression freedom.

Fact is their expression freedom starts with Muslims and ends here too. I'd say the whole Europe is extremist against Muslims. Islamophobia is at such an high level in Europe that they are doing whatever is possible to make fun of Islam, Muslims and our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. They don't want their own frustrated population to find peace in Islam, so they portray Islam as this is the worst religion of the world and Muslims and Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ are the worst people on earth.

But whatever they do, all their arrows turns to themselves always and messes specially youth is showing in immense interest in our religion and our Prophet (ﷺ). Their propaganda and bad tactics have made Muhammad ﷺ a famous personality in Europe. The world have much less of their own Prophets and founders and they know Who the Muhammad (ﷺ) is.

If best friend of Pope can expect a punch for bad words against his mother. Why Muslims can't kill those European extremists who publish blasphemous material time to time against out beloved Prophet (ﷺ).

Love extremists

I Love Muhammad PBUH
You can't claim to love a person, if you don't respect him, and if you respect someone, you can’t hear a word against that person. It’s human nature and a fact. When we claim to love someone we feel like to kill anyone uttering bad words against that beloved of ours.

Another fact in this world is that Muslims love their Prophet (S.A.W.W) more than any Nation love their Allah’s Messenger on this whole earth. On the basis of this fact we can call ourselves (Muslims) love extremists.

Now when are love extremists in case of our beloved Prophet (S.A.W.W), we can’t hear even a single word against Him. Anyone talking against him seems the worst enemy of our own selves to us.

But I don’t know why the world acts as a cruel society in this love story.
  • Whole world especially European countries and their natives claims to be peace ambassador (so called), but when it comes to Muslim and their Prophet (S.A.W.W), words of peace are forgotten by them and they themselves become extremists.
  •  Defaming someone for no reason in this world is a crime and the victim can register a case against accused, but again Muslims and our Prophet (S.A.W.W) defamed by Europe very often,  and they call it expression freedom plus we don’t get any right to register a case for such an offense.
But  all those tactics can't bring a shadow to our Prophet's personality, in-fact people more likely feel interest and research to know about him, and once someone really start knowing Muhammad (S.A.W.W), that person fall in love with him. That's the reason that European scholars, philosophers and analysts are afraid of a complete Muslim Europe in just 200 years.

Rain of blood reigns the land of pure - Affaf Khan

The land of pure as Rain of blood reigns the land of pure today

Tall walls, a comfortable couch, TV, family, food, friends sitting in peace with no fear of a bomb falling through the ceiling maybe or somebody trespassing the boundaries of the secure dwelling and snatching away the valuables at gunpoint, abusing the young girls. Safety and security outside, even inside of ones own home is a mere fantasy for the people living in the war zone. It is a fantasy for every citizen of the land of pure as Rain of blood reigns the land of pure today!

Fire, destruction, debris, death, cries full of pain, agonizing shrieks, streets painted with the blood of innocent, human flesh scattered everywhere, heads lying at the side of the road staring at you.. vivid? right? This is not a para from some graphic novel or a description of a scene from GTA. This is the bitter reality of our homeland.

The blood of shuhadah, the efforts of youngsters and elderly alike, the prayers of mothers and sisters.. this was what we paid for our homeland; the land of pure!
The land where peace will surmise
the land where no evil shall suffice

But today sadly the misery has been inflicted on us. no one ever could have imagined such scenes of violence and bloodshed, which have become a routine and sadly now we are immune to these.

No one even bothers to react anymore, to take an initiative to take a step. Nothing seems to move us probably because somehow we thing nothing bad shall ever befall us, we shall never be struck with any of these calamities somehow we shall be safe and secure and thus the sufferings of the innocent do not come to an end.

But who is doing all this? Who to take a stand against? its not who? it WHAT? it is not a person or a nation that is inflicting us with all this it is a THOUGHT and Ideology that sadly today has been directly affiliated with Islam a religion of peace. A religion that condemns the killing of the innocent harshly who could imagine that religion to be the cause of all this?

A religion that promotes love and unity, co-existence! how could this religion be responsible for such horrible atrocities....

The religion that says.. "killing of one Innocent soul is like taking the life of entire humanity"
how could it teach and be a source for the terrorist outfits? The reason is us, it lies on the followers! religion in itself is just a code of conduct what it looks like and how it is perceived is based on what its followers show in action!

Extremists, terrorists cruel lunatics can call themselves representatives of Islam and no one no one at all stands up and shuts them up tells the world that No this is not the true Islam...they have no right to call themselves humans even. this is because none of us understands Islam in its true spirit ourselves how could we judge others and take a stand for our Deen!

Media a force that intelligently can be used to share and spread the true message and show the world the real face as it psychologically affects the public sadly it is being misused by the negative forces all we see in the name of Islam are mass genocides death and Islam is somehow now synonymous to suicide and bomb blasts!
Dear fellows only if we learn Islam and understand it can we stand up and speak for it and fight for its right place.....if we leave a vacuum any one anyone at all could come and fill it the point is to take our responsibilities and leave no vacancy!

We have to defend our values and identity and not allow any identity thieves to make the entire world go against us, hate us, attack us. not only do the bring us hatred and animosity but they themselves harm and hurt us infiltrating through the security of our pure boundaries and internally weaken us...they are killing our children and women catastrophic in the name of collateral damage they have taken over 3000 lives!

We have to stop them from misrepresenting us the imposters of Islam that are actually attacking Islam and Muslims...how are the Islamist killing the Muslims the killer and the killed both recite the "kalimah shahadat" while dying such confusion and anarchy in thoughts resulting in chaos and disorder in the world around us the only way out is clarification and straightening of the thoughts and that's only what will give us strength and that's what will unite us and with this we can rebuild the values and hopes could be rekindled the lights of peace shall be lighted!

That's how we can get back our land of pure, so beautiful, so serene, so green. mountains, valleys, streams, pastures, all the many sparkling colors, the sweet music of chirping birds.... the stories of some far away dreamland  our elders say they spent their childhood in. The warm and welcoming humans. the overflowing with energy, enthusiasm and talent robust 60% of the population, the strong and tardy females, the most hardworking, gifted males deserve a peaceful and compatible environment to compete with the world and progress and define a prosperous future for the nation. They have a right to security and peace of mind. but they have to so it all for themselves by themselves as somewhere in the equation we made the mistake ourselves we have to correct it ourselves and play the role. restore the tourism, strengthen the economy adversely affected and of course wash away the red paint that had spoiled the most aesthetic picture - the red, deep red blood, red blood, human blood

Let’s Make a Resolution Today - Arwa Habiba

Let’s Make a Resolution Today…..!!!
What do you need most???
A good education, a good job, career, money..??
Or something else instead….???

Every individual has set a goal that is important to him or her, some are shorter, others long... Yet none of these is as important as one blessing that you possess every moment – breathing. It takes only 39 seconds to breathe and if you are unable to breathe; you would have given up all you own to those who are able to breathe again…

Life is precious and limited. It is such a blessing of Allah Almighty which cannot be substituted by anything. Time is running fast, a few years ago you were planning to get your diploma or degree but now you have grown older.  Life would end one day and we will lost every chance to make our life better.
At the end of 2014, it’s a time of accountability for us either I have done such deeds that are presentable before God or not?? If I were dead this moment where would I be placed in? Heaven or hell?? Choice is yours..!!!

The most agonizing and heartrending spectacle is we start new years with celebrations in spite of making resolutions to change ourselves. Every nation have its own culture, belief system, rituals, festivals and traditions. As a Muslim; we have ours. Why are we trying to be like non-believers? We have our own identity which is superior than others… we are Muslims!!!
Let’s make a new start…
Let’s make our nation strong.
Let’s stand unite to make Pakistan save and prosperous.
Let’s be kind, honest, just and true to ourselves...
Let’s stop and abolish every evil from our society.
Let’s join hands together and show our power to the world.
