Bleeding Paradise

It is a proven fact that words (nouns) make images in our minds like if someone says “Apple” our mind will make the image of apple immediately to make us understand the concept.
Now what the word Paradise brings to our minds? In my mind it makes the image of a beautiful garden with lots and lots of colorful flowers, a green grassy floor, clean water flowing smoothly and beautiful people

Such beautiful people with the same other description live somewhere on the planet I know. That somewhere is known as "Kashmir". A paradise on earth or should I say "A bleeding Paradise"

Its been more than a month now, that bleeding paradise is losing more and more blood and the silent world is waiting it to drain out of blood to condemn this atrocity.

Muslim Ummah is not only silent but they are giving the awards to that "Killer" of Muslims in Kashmir. After seeing that news I was thinking what an Ummah even mean for these Arabs. If it means that if Ummah is like one body, if one part is in pain the whole body feels it and can't rest. Than Muslim countries are not part of Muslim Ummah I guess, including my own country. Prime Minister Imran Khan, despite having power to send the troops to save people of Occupied Kashmir. He stand half an for Kashmir and shout out loud, we will not rest if India ever attacked Azad Kashmir.

I was thinking, Was this rally or protest for the people of Occupied Kashmir where India is brutally killing our brothers and sisters and children, gang raping our women, torturing our men and harassing our children and enjoying on the silence of the world. Or this rally was for the Azad Kashmir where nothing bad is happening at all.

I wonder why my country's army is silent, why all the political parties are silent, what has my government has done up-till now other than the speech.

Are we at the brink of another fall????

There is no Stephen Hawking

I saw pictures of Stephen Hawking once or twice somewhere on facebook I think years ago. I just knew that he is some personality with disability.

After his death I came to know that he was one of the rarest men on earth with unique brain and thoughts, But I guess that rare unique mind and high level of intelligence never helped him to recognize "The Creator" of his own brain.

He stated once in an interview that "Before we understand science, it is natural to believe that God created the universe. But now science offers a more convincing explanation." It is clear by his statement that he was a proud atheist.

I am sure that after going back to his Creator, he now knows that there was actually one reality in the  world that he has left behind and that was "God". Creator of his own soul and the world he was explaining through physics.

But time to believe is over for him. First I thought may be he didn't received invitation from anyone (believer) to the right path. But than I read on facebook that Khurram Murad from Pakistan with one of his friend met Stephen Hawking in 80's, talked about Science and Islam, presented him with English translation of Deeniyat - a book by "Maulana Maudodi"

I was relieved by knowing this. At least he knew about "Allah", and the matters of hereafter are between Allah and him but one thing is clear now he knows that there is only one God, and he himself was just a creation though one of the best in this world.

Alone in desert

When I saw picture of Marwan - a Syrian 4 year old boy. I got anxious at once, how he could cross a desert on his own? Where was his family? If they were not alive, where were neighbors or relatives or acquaintances? ???

Or Allah has taken every living soul from him who could take care of him in this world.

I was so much worried, I got the feeling like he was my own brother alone and scared and I was far away from him. I wanted to be there in that desert for him. This is the feeling we get for other Muslims when we consider ourselves a part of Muslim Ummah world wide.

Then I researched about him and got to know that there was more to the news - he was separated from his family for a short while and was reunited with his family by UNHCR after crossing the border of Jordan.

I took a deep breath and relaxed a bit 😊 May Allah never separate anyone from their family in any crisis.

We are praying day and night for our Syrian brothers and Sisters. May Allah save them from enemy's hands (Russia, Iran and Bashar-ul-Asad). May Allah unite all the Muslims against those who wish to end the Muslim race and taking part in massacre of Muslims specially children world wide.

A day with Flowers of Jannah

Allah has stated in Quran that "Be good to orphans and needy, speak nicely to people and help the poor". Paradise has been promised in more than one Hadith to those who take care of any orphan. One of the best home is that where an orphan is being brought up.

I guess an orphanage is most loved home by Allah for raising many orphans and giving them purposeful lives. JI Youth women Lahore visited one of such homes.

Jamaat e Islami Pakistan observe "Society Reform campaign (Islah e Muashra Muhim)" in February every year.

Social Work Society of JI Youth besides other activities decided to visit an orphanage and conduct awareness program regarding Islamic values with orphan kids, as it's our duty and their right to be aware of what their Creator needs them to do in this world.

In pre-visit meeting with the director of that orphanage, she was very encouraging, and asked us to hold a session with their staff also.

On the day of visit, we contacted them in the morning to know if they were ready, and they were waiting for us already. Orphanages are visited very often by many types of organizations that's why I guess the kids were a bit use to of the situation.

They actually had no idea what we were going to do with them. Staff - Every room of that orphanage was for 10 kids and each room had a mother - who look after those 10 kids. Mothers and the 2nd head of that orphanage  both were worried that how will we handle 70 children on our own, because we told them that mothers and other female staff will also be having a session side by side at a separate place.

We had two of the best trainers of "Shoba e Atfal" - Department of JI working for kids with us, Abida Rashid and Tayyaba Akram. They started session with recitation of Quran.

Children there were really active and confident. No one hesitated in any kind of participation. After recitation and Naat, Trainer of shoba-e-atfal taught them Asma-ul-Husna, Hadith Session was after that, children learned an Islamic value through hadith.

Mothers session was going on side by side, Asia Arshad - One of JI Youth's lead trainer delivered lecture on the topic "Love - our Need".

All the mothers understood the value of what they were doing for children, they were so touched by knowing the value of good efforts they were putting in raising orphan kids that they asked us to visit them on regular basis, so that they would learn more.

Colors are always loved by everyone specially children, and coloring activity among a Doa increased fun for them. They learned Doa for seeing themselves in mirror while coloring.

Kids with best and fast coloring got prizes.

One of them didn't got color in time and started sckeching the same drawing on backside of the sheet. He was so young that whole team was amazed by his alert mind and talent. And that was the only sheet that got prize without any color. 😊

After that Hazrat Adam (A.S) and Shaitan's story stalled the interest of children. They learned to apologize on their mistakes - a very important and basic Islamic value from this story.

Maha Akram - JI Youth Social Work Society member, then conducted a visual quiz session which gave them the value that they shouldn't call each other with bad names.

Hamna Azfar - JI Youth Social Work Society member, was responsible for the gifts, one of her friend Aneesa was helping her.

Kinza Waheed - JI Youth Social Work Society member, played the role of photographer in this visit. Although initially her duty was to conduct passing the parcel game with children. Anyhow, Abida and Tayyaba conducted this game.

JI Youth distributed gifts among children, mothers and other staff members with the posters of our beloved leader Sirajul Haq, and gave them hope to be raised in Islami Pakistan - Khush'haal Pakistan

Children prayed with us to Allah that May we all be the good and productive Pakistanis. Ameen

That's how a very fruitful day ended

Director of that orphanage called us the very next day, she was really happy and stated that kids among their mothers were really happy after spending that day with us and asked if we can have regular monthly session with their children.

Our hearts were really thanking Allah for giving us our families. May Allah provide a nice guardian to all the orphans  in the world

Happy Haya Day

While the world is celebrating valentine's day without knowing why the day is actually marked to be observed and what historical value it carries with it. Pakistani people are observing Haya day on 14th Feb.

Many of the ignorant writers have been mocking "Haya Day observers" in their articles. But I think Haya day observers are actually the most updated people on the matter.

They know about the real facts behind valentine's day, although there are two three different stories regarding how this day started to be the "DAY" but something is common in all these stories. That this day is celebrated to remember someone who had illicit relationship and was killed.

Now those who claim that it is the day of "LOVE" must support their claim that how is something like that can be love.

Plus being a Muslim we should be aware of the reason of our actions, as we know that we will be judged by the reason behind the action.

Modesty is the character of our religion Islam

Every Muslim who is observing valentine's day should know about it well that "If one imitates another nation, He will be from them" So this is not a simple matter of what harm would it bring. Its about your hereafter.

News - Sad or not?

Asma Jahangir - known as a fierce lawyer and human rights activist died

Many of the social media users are posting their feelings regarding death of Asma Jahangir on Facebook, twitter and other social networking sites. Some of them are Sad, some are neutral but some of them are really happy on hearing the news.

While having a look at posts and comments of public, I recalled the attitude of Hazrat Muhammad (ï·º) on the death of Abdullah bin Ubai. Abdullah bin Ubai was the person who was clearly known for his hypocrisy and Muslims were seriously harmed by his actions many times. Still our beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (ï·º) gave His shirt to cover him and offered his funeral prayer and when asked to stop by Sahaba He (ï·º) replied that I have been given the choice for Allah says: '(It does not avail) Whether you (O Muhammad ) ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites), or do not ask for forgiveness for them. Even though you ask for their forgiveness seventy times, Allah will not forgive them.
And than he stated that if he was to be forgiven by Allah after I ask for his forgiveness seventy time, I would have done that too.

That was the attitude of "Our Absolute Leader" towards those who were against Muslims and Islam in their hearts - after their death.

And we as the followers of the same leader - where do we stand?
We are actually kind of celebrating the news instead of asking forgiveness for her from Allah
Hatred and anger that people have in their heart against a person, should end with that person as we (Muslims) know well that they are experiencing a whole new world now and they already have started to harvest what they have been sowing in this world through out their lives.

I once heard a quote that "sometimes we become unintentionally what we despise the most"
May Allah save us from webs of Shaitan and negative energy and May Allah forgive her and she rest in peace.

First experiences are always valuable

First experiences are always valuable and we remember and cherish those forever.

Well, we were in an area opposite to Mansoora for a camp arranged by the three societies of JI Youth team, first we were told that the place is called Mansoora 2, we gave address to the whole team with the name Mansoora 2 in it :) but on the day of the event we came to know that this wasn't Mansoora 2 but National Park, Rana Town. Every body got confused and wondered the area before reaching the camp site, plus there was another event in Mansoora Markaz at the same time, that increased the confusion. On top of all orange train track was stalling time of people as there was a long traffic jam because of under construction station of metro in front of Mansoora.

Anyway, story starts when we reached at venue - Our first camp site was a closed street of area, it was a free medical camp from health club of JI Youth, there was an awareness lecture for mothers regarding children education and up bringing by Education and Research society and Social work society was responsible for a survey to know the problems of people - particularly women of that community plus arranged gifts, balloons, chocolates and fun activities for kids there.
Well, when we reached there,  tenting and catering staff was almost done. Arwa (President of JI Youth women Lahore)  was there after 5 minutes, both of us told them regarding setting that where we need tables and chairs. Thanks to Maham and Mahreen (my younger sisters and JI Youth team members) - we were ready with the backdrop, standees, table of gifts, drawing pages, colors and distribution material in no time.

Patients started to come on time, in fact - we heard that some of the women came earlier than the starting timing of the camp, reception team of Jamaat e Islami Women Wing started working efficiently - entered the named of patients in lists and gave them token number for free check up - discipline team was guiding them to their waiting area.

A surprise was awaiting us in that day - we were informed that Ameer Jamaat e Islami Siraj-ul-Haq will be visiting our camp, but we weren't informed that our beloved leader will be visiting us early in the morning 😊

When we were told that He will be here any moment, we really got shocked 😮 for a moment, because Our seniors planned to attend the other program first before coming to our camp. Now we immediately contacted Zarafshan Baji (President Jamaat e Islami Women Wing Lahore) and Amna Baji (Vice president  Jamaat e Islami Women Wing Lahore) and they guided us how we have to brief regarding camp to the leader.

This was our first out door activity under our societies, and arrival of THE LEADER was really encouraging, in fact someone very dear to us stated that "Ham Sirajul Haq Sahb se time laity rehty hn, k vo program mein kab aa sakty hn or ap k camp mein vo khud aa gaye" - and we felt proud - Yes! He asked about the camp himself and told the team that He will be visiting this camp.

When our Leader Siraj-ul-Haq arrived at the camp with media, all the roofs of surrounding were filled with people watching the ribbon cutting ceremony, they were also amazed I guess to see a national leader and chairman of a political party roaming around without protocol and security, in a street of their own area. Well! People will get used to of watching their leaders in real life, when Jamaat-e-Islami will be in power Insha Allah.
Small kids of area welcomed the beloved leader with rose petals shower, children were happy to see him and those who got two plates of flower petals were happier than others 🌹

Ameer e Jamaat distributed gifts among kids and addressed media there.

Among media there was Sadia Imam from Samaa, and girls who knew her were seeking just a chance to shake hands with her or at least say "Assalam o Alaikum! Bari khushi hoi ap se mil k" but she stayed for a short while.

Doctors started their work and children were engaged by social work society in coloring activity, both team and kids enjoyed a lot. A story telling session, balloon blowing competition and small games stalled the interest of children the whole day.

Women and children got free check up and medicine in this medical camp arranged with collaboration of Al-Khidmat Foundation Women Wing, and they were indeed very satisfied with the working team

Asma Raza (JI Youth team member) collected data regarding the problems of the people of area through a survey form. Ayesha and Kinza (JI Youth team members)arrived a bit late due to double program confusion but when they arrived, they really took over and other team members rested a bit.

During the break of doctors Education and Research society arranged an awareness lecture for mothers, Head of the society Saima Amjad taught mothers regarding the emotional and psychological needs of their children and how to take care of those needs.

Female leadership of JI Lahore arrived in afternoon to visit our camp. They also appreciated the effort.

At 03:00 pm we closed to provide token numbers and camp continued till 05:00 pm.
That's how our first camp ended successfully, although we spent some of our time, money and energy, but the smile on faces of women and children was priceless - that we really wanted to do that again and again and again ......
We learned a lot and gained experience. I guess we will remember this first activity of our societies forever.
